2. How to Cancel Your Subscription

2.1 Cancellation Methods

  1. Self-Service: Log into your account and navigate to Account Settings → Subscription → Cancel Subscription
  2. Email Request: Send a cancellation request to support@mentormails.com
  3. Live Chat: Contact our support team through the live chat feature

2.2 Required Information

  • Your account email address
  • Reason for cancellation (optional but helpful for our improvement)
  • Preferred cancellation date
  • Confirmation that you understand the cancellation terms

3. Cancellation Timeline

Monthly Subscriptions

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain full access until the subscription expires.

Annual Subscriptions

Annual subscriptions can be cancelled at any time, but access continues until the end of the current annual period unless a refund is requested.

4. What Happens After Cancellation

4.1 Account Access

  • You retain access to all features until the end of your current billing period
  • Your account will be downgraded to free tier after expiration
  • Historical data and analysis results remain accessible for 90 days
  • You can reactivate your subscription at any time

4.2 Data Retention

  • Your email analysis data is preserved for 90 days after cancellation
  • Account settings and preferences are maintained
  • You can export your data before the retention period expires
  • Data is permanently deleted after 90 days unless you reactivate

5. Early Cancellation Fees

No Early Cancellation Fees

We do not charge early cancellation fees for any of our subscription plans. You can cancel your subscription at any time without penalty. However, please note that refunds are subject to our Refund Policy.

6. Billing After Cancellation

  • No future charges will be processed after cancellation
  • You will receive a confirmation email of the cancellation
  • Final billing statement will be sent at the end of your current period
  • Any outstanding payments remain due and payable

7. Reactivation

Easy Reactivation

If you change your mind, you can easily reactivate your subscription by logging into your account and selecting a new plan. Your previous data and settings will be restored.

8. Special Circumstances

8.1 Pause Subscription

Instead of cancelling, you may be eligible to pause your subscription for up to 3 months. This option is available for annual subscribers and can be requested through our support team.

8.2 Billing Issues

If you're experiencing billing issues or unauthorized charges, please contact our support team immediately. We will investigate and resolve the matter promptly, and you may be eligible for a full refund depending on the circumstances.

9. Important Notice

Important: Cancellation requests must be submitted before your next billing date to avoid being charged for the upcoming period. Once a charge is processed, it is subject to our refund policy rather than cancellation policy.
